Under the Palumbo Superyachts brands, Columbus Yachts has recently created a new line of yachts called Atlantique, with Ocean Drive as the official European representative. The first in a series of three luxury motor yachts, the 2023 141ft Columbus Atlantique 43 luxury motor yacht was designed by Hot Lab, which combines high style with totally functional spaces that are dedicated to life at sea. The yacht designers are responsible for both the yacht interior and exterior, and created a voyager that truly sits at one with the ocean.

Private Paradise on the Ocean
One first notices the extended stern that boasts a large panoramic pool that sits just 50cm above the water, creating an almost infinity effect. Built to the design requirements of the owner and his family, the brief was to create spaces that seamlessly merge the interior and exterior. As one of the more distinct design elements of the boat, the stern is reminiscent of a fantail sailboat. The pool is surrounded by seating for all to enjoy this area that is extremely low – purposely to be at one with the water.
Built for Family Life and Entertaining
Just forward of the pool area is an aft al fresco dining space that seats up to 12 guests comfortably. Closeable “windbreak” side windows allow for a true, indoor/outdoor feel that overlooks the main salon. Inside, the main salon features two distinct areas that include seating areas in the form of a C-shaped sofa, and forward, additional seating faces a large, 82in flat screen television; the sliding windows forward in the main salon have the option of staying fully open.
The remainder of the main deck is divided into several areas. Forward to starboard is a lobby with a stairwell and elevator that reaches all decks, and further forward lies an area that can double as a gym or library. To port, this area is dedicated to crew and includes a pantry, cold room, laundry, galley, and a crew mess. The area also features a private space for the captain with an en suite. A second garage here houses the tender and toys.
Pure Privacy
Mostly reserved for the owner, the upper deck houses a totally private aft terrace that can only be accessed by the owner’s suite. The interior boasts a king-sized bed that faces aft, and the entire area is flooded with light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a complete 180-degree view. The owner’s area also features a large dressing room with a vanity and en suite that has a large tub and shower. At the bow on the upper deck, an expansive lounge area features a second pool that is surrounded by sunpads.
Lower Deck Layout
The lower deck features 5 staterooms – 2 VIPs, 2 twins, and another VIP that is full-beam. The forward portion of the lower deck is dedicated to 4 double cabins for crew, each with its own en suite, as well as a private stairwell for easy access to the galley and other working areas on the main deck.
Eco-friendly attributes include solar panels, water purifiers, and a low fuel-consumption propulsion system to help minimize the impact on the environment and to save energy.

About Yacht Broker Renaud Canivet
Founder of Ocean Drive in 1999, Renaud Canivet was raised in a nautical-based environment: his Uncle was an Admiral, his Grandfather was Captain in the Navy and his father was Captain in the merchant navy. With such a background, his destiny was written. He first started working in 1984 in the merchant navy, before getting involved in the yachting industry. Thanks to his technical and interpersonal skills, he soon became Captain on board prestigious yachts.
In 1994 he introduced BAIA to the French Riviera and five years later he created Ocean Drive, becoming the brand’s exclusive representative for France and Monaco.
