New and Used Spencer Yachts for Sale

Spencer Yachts was founded in 1996 by Paul Spencer, a man with a focus on what a true sportfishing boat should be able to do for the avid angler. The strong and reliable boats are built in Manns Harbor, North Carolina under the cold-molded method of boat building, after which each vessel is transported for completion in Wanchese. Company History

Founded by Captain Paul Spencer, Spencer Yachts was born out of a strong bond with the ocean. Since age 12, Spencer worked on and around the water, and acquired his Captain’s license at age 20.

He earned his living doing fishing charters and tournaments until 1996, when he decided to enter the boat building world. Utilizing his personal experience as a captain of sportfishing vessels, he employed his knowledge of functional necessities blended with his preferred Carolina style of boats. As a result, Spencer Yachts was created.

Boats are built in two facilities; the hull is built in Manns Harbor, NC, where there are five bays that employ the cold-molded method. The hull is then transported for completion to Wanchese, where there are six additional bays, 12 dockage slips, an in-house paint shed, a metal machine shop, and a carpenter’s shop to create one-of-a-kind interiors.
