Company History

Established in 1975 by Walter Schultz, Shannon Yachts is a designer and builder of offshore yachts – both sail and motor – of the highest quality. For the last 40 years, the yard has garnered a worldwide reputation for top construction and offshore integrity. The company builds each of its yachts at its Rhode Island, US factory with the best in materials utilized by top-skilled boat builders. Its Defiance line of yachts is a modern, fast and fuel-efficient yacht even in the roughest of seas. The company’s Voyager 36 and 45 are stunningly classic express yachts with seaworthy planing hulls that go the distance.
