Originally founded in 1978 in Istanbul, Turkey the shipyard known today as RMK Marine is now located in Tuzla and specializes in the construction, repair, and maintenance of commercial boats, naval vessels, and superyachts. With a reputation for strong work ethic and meticulous building methods, the award-winning yard has built notable yachts such as NAZENIN V, which was awarded Best Sailing Yachting over 45 meters at the 2010 World Superyacht Awards; the 45m motor yacht KARIA, as well as the Oyster 100 S/Y SARAFIN – both of which received the Judges Special Commendation prize at the 2012 World Superyacht Awards. The yard continues to produce even more award-winning yachts, however they are also known for expertise in refit, repair and restoration projects.
