Founded in The Netherlands in 1919 by Albert Kizn Hakvoort, the family-owned Hakvoort Yachts began by building fishing boats, and as the need and want for luxury sailing yachts came about, they moved onto fulfilling that need. The yard now builds fully bespoke superyachts to clients’ needs in two large halls that make up their building facilities – a metal shop, and a joinery shop. The yard also refits of superyachts. Notable yacht launches include the 38m PERLE BLEUE, and the 49m JeMaSa – the largest yacht built by the yard to date.
