What drew you to the yachting world?

One day, one phone call… three interviews and you have a chance. You don’t know yet that a great opportunity awaits you, full of potential. Everything starts from that one day.

How did you get your start in yachting?

It’s a stroke of luck, although there are no such things as coincidences. When you receive a chance, you realize that this is one of those professions that truly is “beautiful.”

As you work, you have the opportunity to learn, travel extensively, and your circle of acquaintances is always incredibly diverse, filled with extraordinary individuals and events. You find yourself always at the forefront of everything happening in the world.

Who are some influential people in your life that you look up to?

Women! Many people confuse this with feminism, when women admire other women who are smart, self-sufficient, strong, who have real significance in this world. What an example women all over the world set for us.

Women show incredible resilience in the face of challenges and adversity. They overcome obstacles, break barriers, and continue to strive for their goals, inspiring others to persevere and never give up.

Women often exhibit exceptional empathy and compassion towards others. They prioritize nurturing and caring for those around them, fostering a sense of community and understanding. Women excel at balancing multiple roles, such as being mothers, wives, professionals and community leaders. They demonstrate the ability to juggle responsibilities while still pursuing their passions and aspirations.

These examples showcase the strength, resilience, compassion, and versatility that women bring to society, inspiring others to embrace their own potential and strive for greatness.

In women, there is so much beauty, creativity, and a completely different approach to everything, making any process even more unique and special. They adorn this world and make it undeniably better and more fulfilling with their energy. They give meaning to everything. This is not about fighting for equality or other distortions; it is about women being different, being special, and their energy, their multifaceted view of the world and ordinary things, their ability to notice details and give everything purpose.

What are some challenges you face and how do you overcome them?

When yachting is only associated as an element of luxury life, it is once again about distortions. Yachting is a lifestyle. It goes beyond mere opulence and represents a passion for the sea, adventure, and the freedom to explore. It is about embracing the serenity and beauty of the open waters, connecting with nature, and experiencing unforgettable moments.

Yachting offers a unique perspective on life, emphasizing the importance of relaxation, rejuvenation, and creating cherished memories. It is a way to escape the constraints of everyday life and immerse oneself in a world of tranquility and excitement. So, let’s not limit yachting to just luxury, but appreciate it for the incredible lifestyle it offers.

What advice would you give someone who is starting in the yachting industry?

To be yourself, to work on yourself, to have an interest in life and everything new, to go beyond limiting beliefs, to remain human and not betray yourself and your dreams.

Choose yourself and do everything out of love and genuine desire and interest. No standard imposed skills will help you become yourself, or the best version of yourself. Only by listening to yourself and your inner voice, will you be unique and incomparable in any sphere. Being who you are is the secret. Then you are beyond competition. Then you are always a winner. This applies to everything as a whole; there is no need to divide life into sectors. In any sector of life, be it work, family, with friends, in society, you take yourself with you, you will be you everywhere. It is important to have balance and self-acceptance as a whole. Be yourself!

What is the most rewarding/enjoyable element of your job?

For me, as a person involved in the world of yachting from the inside, it’s not just about the sea breeze, sun and relaxation. Just like in any other industry, you see your profession from different perspectives. It includes the pursuit of innovation, finding ways to save the environment, genuine love for what you do, and integrating the arts.

You can witness how progress, fashion, the use of recycled materials and the introduction of modern technology are intertwined in the process of creating yachts.

What is your favorite thing about working in the yacht industry?

I can tell you that working in the yacht industry offers a multitude of exciting opportunities for anyone, regardless of gender.

From my observations, many women in the yacht industry appreciate the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the market. They enjoy being part of a diverse and creative team, contributing their unique skills and perspectives to the design, construction, and management of luxurious yachts.

Additionally, they often find fulfillment in building strong relationships with clients and witnessing their dreams come to life on the open seas. Ultimately, the joy of working in the yacht market lies in being part of a fascinating world that combines innovation, craftsmanship, and the beauty of the ocean.

What are you currently working on and what keeps you motivated?

Now I am on a long-awaited trip to my beloved Ukraine. I am at home enjoying the happiness and precious moments with my family and friends before the new boat show season begins.

This time spent with loved ones fills my soul and lifts my spirits as I prepare to re-enter the exciting world of the yachting industry.
