What drew you to the yachting world?
I would have to say passion.
Obviously, I have a passion for the sea and the yachting world, but also I am fascinated by the work of professional masters in the nautical world.
All the work from the yacht design to interior finishing – it is one of the finest examples of Italian excellence. A combination of technique with a taste for art.
How did you get your start in yachting?
I started my career as a personal assistant to a well-known CEO of one of the most famous shipyards in La Spezia. I then moved on to a role within the purchasing office of a naval carpenter, where I learned so much about yacht construction. Following that, I entered the world of charter and yacht brokerage with MC YACHT.
Who are some influential people in your life that you look up to?
I am inspired by intelligent, courageous, and innovative people with big hearts, especially those who started from nothing.
Today I am influenced by Samantha Cristoforetti, the first woman astronaut: professional, skilled, and innovative, she is a living legend!
What are some challenges you face and how do you overcome them?
Each yacht sale has a story. The most important part of my work is ensuring I can meet the requests of the seller and buyer – usually in tight timelines. This requires a lot of professionalism and perseverance.
What advice would you give to someone who is starting in the yachting industry?
My advice is to always study and learn because the sector is constantly evolving.
You need to keep up to date! Also, it is a sector that requires professionalism.
What is the most rewarding/enjoyable element of your job?
Without a doubt, making people’s dreams come true when buying a yacht.
What is your favorite thing about working in the yacht market?
My favorite part of this job is that it is truly international.
I was born and raised abroad and this sector offers the opportunity to meet and work with extraordinary people from all over the world.
What are you currently working on and what keeps you motivated?
At the moment, MC YACHT is working on several big projects, one of which is to offer a concierge service.
We are constantly evolving and expanding, which is my source of motivation.
