KRC Yachting and Italstyle Design have unveiled a new motor yacht project: KRCM 140 Series – The Orca. A 42.5m (140ft) motor yacht built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the yacht is expected to be finished in just over two years.

Studio Italstyle is renowned for its minimalist designs and has collaborated on projects with shipyards such as Baglietto and Azimut. Project Orca will accommodate 14 guests across seven cabins, arranged as a master suite, two VIP staterooms and four doubles. This layout will appeal to mixed charter groups and families alike.

As with many yacht designs in recent years, Project Orca has an exceptional, full-beam beach club space on the waterline. Additional design highlights include a generous al fresco dining space on the upper deck and a jacuzzi, as well as several fold down balconies throughout. The 390 GT Orca yacht will have a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots

KRC Yachting has emerged as one of the go-to luxury trawler / ‘pocket’ expedition yacht builders. Its vessels are equipped to travel vast distances with all the incredible amenities expected of a modern superyacht. Its KRCM 110 series – in partnership with boatbuilder Marti Yat – features three stylish expedition yachts:

  • T-Rex,
  • Exuma Explorer and
  • Rhino III.
