The Italian Sea Group has announced the successful launch of their latest addition to the Tecnomar Catamaran fleet, 142.7ft (43.5m) THIS IS IT. The yacht will make their world debut at the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show, September 27 – 30.
Groundbreaking Catamaran Model

We will present this iconic yacht for the world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show.”
The latest Tecnomar Catamaran offers an updated tradition and innovative design to create “a concept of radical lifestyle and elegance…with striking asymmetries and a bold, eye-catching silhouette enveloped by more than 600 square meters of impressive glass windows.” The design resembles modern architecture on land, while the curved lines and details are designed to resemble sea creatures, further connecting the yacht to the sea surrounding it.
In an effort to control the weight of the 750 gross tonnage of THIS IS IT, the TISG design team utilized an extensive use of glass and designed the aluminum superstructure to be hydrodynamic and to create a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions. THIS IS IT is IMO Tier III compliant and equipped with “innovative exhaust gas treatment technology (SCR – Selective Catalytic Reduction) to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.”
Moving onto the yacht interior, the luxury yacht features six cabins, a galley with polarized glass, and is designed in futuristic colors and palettes to match the exteriors. The owner’s cabin has a large skylight and panoramic terrace with unique vertical garden spanning across two decks, looking to bring even more of the outside in.
THIS IS IT will be on display at Monaco Yacht Show for the duration of the show.
