Sanlorenzo has unveiled SHE, a unique 84ft (25.5m) yacht that reimagines Italian maritime heritage through a contemporary lens. SHE, short for Sanlorenzo Heritage, embodies a philosophy that unites timeless elegance with innovation, sustainability, and modern lifestyle. Crafted as a singular expression rather than the first of a series, SHE’s design draws inspiration from 1960s Italian yachts, expressed through minimalist lines and fluid architectural spaces. Advanced materials and hybrid propulsion merge heritage aesthetics with innovation, creating an atmosphere that is both warm and versatile.
President and CEO of Sanlorenzo Group Massimo Perotti remarked, “SHE is a celebration of Italian yachting artistry, [representing] a journey, seven decades in the making.” Perotti notes this vessel reflects the ethos of Sanlorenzo: “Elegance that doesn’t shout, innovation that respects, design that endures… SHE is a bridge between what we’ve inherited and what we choose to become.”

SHE showcases the skill of Sanlorenzo’s artisans in collaboration with Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners, reflecting restraint, refinement, and a fresh vision of yachting. Her interiors, reminiscent of a sophisticated Milanese lounge, feature mahogany finishes, bespoke furnishings, and sculptural accents that honor mid-century Italian design while integrating contemporary comforts.
Bernardo Zuccon of Zuccon International Project describes SHE as “memory in motion.” The designer explains that motor yacht SHE “is the result of a design journey rooted in the tradition of Italian shipbuilding, defined by craftsmanship, culture, and aesthetic sensitivity, and which, with respect, opens itself to new visions. Every line, every volume of SHE originates from the desire to reinterpret forms and proportions that marked an era, giving them a contemporary language.”
Design for Living: A New Vision of Space and Experience
Designed to be lived in, SHE offers generous volumes, intuitive layouts, and a cohesive design that emphasizes light and openness. Full-height glazing fills the interiors with natural light and connects indoor and outdoor spaces. At anchor, the stern unfolds into a sea-level terrace, expanding the living area and enhancing the connection with the sea. The main deck flows on a single level, providing a customizable space with sustainable teak alternatives that combine elegance, durability, and comfort.
The two-level superstructure features a bow lounge and upper sun deck, carefully positioned to preserve the yacht’s silhouette and maintain visual harmony. Innovative features, such as the Smart Island modular system and one-way hull glazing, allow flexible configurations without obstructing the openness of the design, balancing functionality with minimalist refinement.
Interior Philosophy: Timeless Italian Elegance Reimagined
Curated by Sanlorenzo Art Director Piero Lissoni, SHE’s interiors reinterpret classic Italian yachting with contemporary sensibility. The three-level layout, including a mezzanine linking the main and lower decks, ensures privacy and provides a seamless transition between spaces. The aft area integrates a lounge and bar with the helm station to create a sociable environment. Expansive windows in the elevated main salon embody a connection to the sea.
Three en-suite cabins, a full-beam owner’s suite, VIP cabin, and guest cabin, are bathed in natural light, offering calm and understated luxury. Crew areas are thoughtfully separated to ensure privacy and operational efficiency. Every material, detail, and spatial decision emphasizes a refined, timeless onboard experience.
Lissoni describes SHE as “a modern yacht with many innovations, simply expressed through a softened aesthetic language.” He noted the vessel “reuses traditional elements and evokes the grace of the 1960s but leaps forward into 2030” due to her technological innovations.
Sustainable Innovation: Pioneering Hybrid Propulsion
SHE marks a new chapter in Sanlorenzo’s commitment to sustainability as the first yacht in the fleet to feature Volvo Penta’s hybrid IPS propulsion system. Twin IPS30 units enable flexible cruising and offer performance without compromise, from silent, zero-emission electric navigation at up to 9 knots to hybrid operation reaching 20 knots. The system recharges batteries during diesel cruising, supports silent overnight stays without a generator, and provides a booster mode to enhance thrust while reducing engine load.
The concept of sustainability extends throughout the yacht, from a custom 3.95-metre carbon-fiber electric tender to eco-conscious construction using lightweight sandwich lamination and bio-based resins. SHE demonstrates how advanced technology can coexist with luxury, comfort, and environmental responsibility.
