Rosetti Superyachts has unveiled its latest design for a 40m explorer vessel. For this project, the Italian shipyard has once again collaborated with Hydro Tech for exterior yacht design and naval architecture, but also announced it will be working with the designer brand Luxury Living Group for interior yacht styling.
Exploring: It’s in Rosetti Superyachts’ DNA
As the yachting wing of the commercial boat builder Rosetti Marino Group, explorer yachts are in Rosetti Superyacht’s DNA. For the 40m EXP, Rosetti Superyachts (RSY) wish to offer its clients the brand’s award-winning explorer technology with a sophisticated interior design. The Luxury Living Group is an undisputed leader in the design, production, and distribution of luxury furniture for over 40 years, with collaborations with Versace, Dolce&Gabbana, Trussardi, Bentley Motors, and Bugatti, in addition to its own brand Luxence Luxury Living. The collaboration seemed like a natural fit and perfectly complemented Hydro Tec’s design of the 40m EXP.
“The collaboration with Luxury Living Group stems from our desire to present a project such as the 40m EXP in a different way, already proposing an elegant and modern furnishing solution developed with a company that has made luxury and custom-designed furniture its hallmark. The 40m EXP gives us the opportunity to explore some features already glimpsed in the 38m EXP and to offer them in different solutions on the interiors as well, with customization tips which can clearly be adjusted to the client’s needs,” said Andrea Giora, Sales & Marketing Director of RSY.

A Proven Yacht Design with Optimal Bow Section and Longer Stern
This latest collaboration builds on the success of the shipyard’s 38m M/Y EMOCEAN, an award-winning explorer yacht launched in 2021. The 40m EXP offers owners the proven design of the 38m naval platform, with an optimal bow section and a longer, flatter stern. The slightly larger superyacht allowed Sergio Cutolo, Owner of Hydro Tec to enhance the original 38m renderings. “The 40m EXP has allowed us to reinterpret and refine EMOCEAN by adding features and solutions that were not possible to add on the 38m” Cutolo explained.

Speed, Exploration and Exquisitely Designed Yacht Interiors
The 40m EXP yacht combines several excellent qualities of an explorer vessel, such as a cruising range of more than 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots and considerable fuel and water tank capacities, all with design features that exude luxury. The neutral, contemporary interior palette is brightened by vibrant color accents and accessories from the Luxury Living Group. One of the standout areas on board is the lounge on the bridge deck with designs from Trussardi Casa, D&G Casa Mediterranean blue armchairs and unique jungle patterned furniture by Versace Home’s Stiletto line. The main saloon’s bright accents are reflected in the expansive ceiling mirror, carefully designed to complement the white “cloud” of the walls, the sofa, and the large dining table with a Carrara marble top. Each room is exquisitely designed by the Luxury Living Group team.

The 40m EXP is expected to be delivered in 2023.
