Dutch shipyard Oceanco has relaunched the 105m (345ft) motor yacht H (also known as hull 1050H) following its extensive rebuild. In a statement, Oceanco explained that the yacht underwent “a complete transformation that is practically unprecedented in its scale and nature.”
The complete redesign of motor yacht H has been a collaboration between the shipyard and the designer Reymond Langton.
Speaking on the launch, Oceanco’s CEO Marcel Onkenhout commented, “To say that this has been a remarkable process is an understatement. The project has called for passion, dedication, and extraordinary craftsmanship, with many involved in her creation now contributing to her recreation, including myself. We are proud to say that we are relaunching a completely new Oceanco.”
Motor yacht H features a fresh, modern yacht exterior with a completely new superstructure. In addition to her updated interior and exterior yacht design, H now boasts an array of state-of-the-art technologies. She is fully compliant with IMO Tier II standards and has several safety and sustainable technologies on board.
The owner’s representative Richard Hein of The A Group spoke on the comprehensive transformation of the project: “A yacht is more than just the materialization of an owner’s vision. It has its own character, its own specific habitat, with a unique purpose and story. Through the achievements of this project, we have been able to extend the story of a remarkable superyacht for decades to come.”
This extension rebuild of H will no doubt encourage other owners to consider rebuild projects, as these have much shorter timelines than an entire new build project.
