In a May 10 press release from the Shipyard, the yacht owners expressed, “the Mulder ThirtySix is the finest yacht in her class in the world. We look forward to taking her to new waters not yet visited by a Mulder and sharing her with those we meet on our voyages.”
The name CASTLEFINN pays tribute to a village in Ireland from which the yacht owners’ ancestors emigrated to Canada during the Great Potato Famine. A nod to their heritage and a continuation of a naming tradition from their previous yachts, CASTLEFINN has been a symbol of resilience and family legacy for the past twenty years.
A striking blend of innovation and craftsmanship, the Mulder ThirtySix is a full-aluminum, semi-custom yacht, designed to deliver both comfort and performance. The interior showcases exquisite oak finishes and wooden floors that embody a sense of ‘barefoot luxury.’ The sense of luxury is carried throughout the vessel with wood accents, high-end finishes, and a calming yet warm color pallet.
CASTLEFINN can host up to 10 guests between five beautiful staterooms. The full-beam owner’s suite features separate His & Her bathrooms for ultimate comfort, in addition to private access to the bow with seating. Two convertible VIP cabins and two spacious double staterooms offer flexible yet elegant accommodations for guests. The main saloon is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. A fold-out balcony seamlessly connects the dining area to the outdoor deck space, adding additional room for entertaining guests.
The outdoor spaces aboard CASTLEFINN are as thoughtfully designed and inviting as the interior, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury at sea. The expansive aft deck provides shaded alfresco dining and lounging, while the sundeck offers generous sun pads and a Jacuzzi for sun-bathed relaxation. The foredeck lounge features a U-shaped sofa and sunbeds with panoramic views, creating a serene environment. The beach club includes a stylish bar and easy access to the water, perfect for entertaining or unwinding by the sea.
