Merle Wood & Associates has announced the sale of three yachts this week, getting the well-known brokerage house off to a great start for the new year.
The first boat announced was OCEAN DRIVE, a tri-deck aluminum motor yacht built by Broward Marine in 1988 and sold by Nicholas Cardoza. The 122-foot yacht with teak decks was just refit last year and looks fresh and new. The spacious motor yacht accommodates up to eight guests in four luxurious staterooms, including a master suite with a king berth and vast marble-clad en suite. Two queen staterooms and a twin are aft, each with private en suites and entertainment systems. The yacht offers many options for relaxing and entertainment onboard, including a spacious bow lounge, a vast aft deck with a table that seats up to eight guest, and a 300-bottle wine cooler. The flybridge can be enjoyed anytime thanks to a removable Bimini. She is powered by twin CAT engines, dual Northern Light generators, and Naiad stabilizers.
The second boat sold was ONE LIFE, a stylish and comfortable 91-foot Marlow yacht sold by Jarrett Hiebert. She blends sophisticated design with exceptional performance, making her ideal for long-range cruises and exploration. The remarkable motor yacht accommodates up to ten guests in four spacious and well-appointed staterooms including a generous master, as well as a separate crew cabin that sleeps up to four crew. The master features a king berth, as well as the VIP, while the remaining staterooms include two twin staterooms. Outside, her large flybridge is ideal for entertaining. Powerful twin Caterpillar diesel engines with 1,900hp each give ONE LIFE a remarkable max speed of 29 knots and cruising speed of 23 knots. She is equipped with Yacht Controller, making docking a breeze, and she has been meticulously maintained.
The third vessel sold is the 2015 VanDutch yacht KISMET. At 55 feet, this superb yacht makes an excellent tender. She features two cabins below that accommodate up to four guests, and has a beam of over 14 feet wide. She has a shallow draft of under 4 feet and is equipped with a hydraulic Bimini that makes her a true convertible yacht. Her helm’s strategic placement on the port side easily allows the boat to be owner-operated without a captain and provides superb visibility while navigating and socializing. Powered by twin Volvo IPS 900 engines, KISMET has a cruising speed of 36 knots and a top speed of 38 knots.
