Horizon Yachts has delivered Horizon RP122 MISS MICHELLE. The occasion was celebrated by the Horizon Yacht USA team and the vessel’s new owners with a champagne christening. Designed for luxurious and comfortable cruising, this is the ninth hull in the Raised Pilothouse (RP) series.
Roger Sowerbutts, Director at Horizon Yacht USA, stated, “This RP122 is verified to meet the Hull & Stability standards of Bureau Veritas and builds on the success of its predecessors. She carries design elements from our award-winning FD (Fast Displacement) Series, including a High-Performance Piercing Bow that makes for a smooth and efficient ride. Add to that a spacious layout and a thoughtfully conceived fold-out platform in the beach club, and you have a very compelling package.”
The interior of MISS MICHELLE has accents of ebony and walnut to offset the white marble floors and upholstery. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light and, combined with a fully custom Lutron lighting system and RGB lighting, create a bright and airy interior space. With a wet bar, coffee maker, and plenty of space for entertaining, the owners requested a state-of-the-art entertainment system to accompany the 75” inch television in the main salon. The open concept lounge and dining areas have a partition that can be used to separate the spaces for intimate gatherings. The walnut dining table, with sycamore, maple, and ebony accents, can seat 10 guests.
The full-beam, on-deck master stateroom features a king-sized bed with a Corian White Onyx stone framed headboard and wireless charging stations concealed in the nightstands. This stunning owner’s suite holds luxe details including a raised ceiling, vanity with charging station, walk-in closets, and his-and-hers ensuite with dual vanity sinks, and a Hi/Lo coffee machine.
Three ensuite guest cabins are featured below deck. The full-beam forward VIP has a king-bed, walk-in closet, and double vanity sink. Walnut accents provide warmth throughout the bright white cabin interiors and compliment the mosaic color palette.
On the exterior, MISS MICHELLE has an outdoor dining and lounge area on the main deck, which connects to the interior main salon. Aft steps lead down to the swim platform which has an additional aft-extending platform and tender garage. A beach club offers guests a shaded oasis near the water with plush seating area and coffee table. This space can also be reconfigured into an additional cabin complete with a full head and integrated shower.
The top deck is home to the flybridge, with a second, two seat helm station positioned on the forward, starboard side. Aft of the flybridge is an outdoor entertainment area complete with a TV, L-shaped bar, and six barstools. The portside hosts a grand sofa with two ottomans, perfect for relaxing while taking in stunning ocean views.
MISS MICHELLE’s standout feature is the dining and entertainment area, also located on the flybridge aft. The Hi/Lo dining table with eight moveable chairs can accommodate al fresco dining or be rearranged for movie nights with a projector screen.
Forward of the flybridge, a raised pilot house is located on the bridge deck. This wheelhouse is home to a cutting edge Furuno navigation system, specifically requested by the owner. Additional features include an L-shaped sofa and table and a custom Stidd helm chair.
The foredeck is home to a gorgeous lounge space complete with comfortable seating, a hot tub, and U-shaped settee with a Hi/Lo table. Crew accommodations are just below the foredeck with space for a captain and 5 crew members. The configuration includes a crew mess, Captain’s cabin with a double bed, and two bunk cabins.
