Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of their 50m aluminum fast cruiser, YN 20350, named Project Jade. The yacht exteriors have been completed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, with modern yacht interiors by Cristiano Gatto. Project Jade blends upscale yacht interiors with modern technologies. Through a mix of various materials and textures that reflect natural light, Project Jade also features pops of bold greens in honor of her namesake stone.

Laupman shares, “The whole superstructure is slightly curved giving her a more elegant aft end, while the use of wrap around glass and loose exterior furniture mean deck spaces have generous seating, but remain airy, light and well detailed.”

Project Jade has accommodation for 12 guests in five staterooms, with an owner’s suite located on the main deck forward. The remaining cabins – two doubles and two twins – are on the lower deck, as well as space for nine crew members. This sale marks the third Heesen vessel sold by SuperYachtsMonaco in the past 10 years, marking a significant collaboration, in particular with Jim Evans, who introduced the client.

Heesen’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Cavendish, shares, “We are overjoyed to congratulate the client on entrusting our shipyard with building his new yacht. This sale not only showcases the exceptional quality of Heesen yachts but also confirms our strong relationship with the brokerage network.”

Project Jade boasts a top speed of 23 knots, thanks to a highly efficient yacht hull design, designed by Heesen’s in-house naval architects. The unique yacht hull design also means Project Jade is IMO III compliant.

Cavendish also extended his congratulations to Jim Evans for his role in the sale, “Jim Evans has consistently been a strong advocate for Heesen, and this sale underscores his deep knowledge of our brand and product. We are grateful for his continued support and look forward to future collaborations.”

Project Jade will complete her finishing touches before heading to the North Sea for sea trials and delivery to her owners in the second quarter of 2024.
