How did you get your start in yachting?
At a very early age, I used to help my father in the south of France delivering specs to yachts in various ports of the French Riviera.
Is there anyone in particular who influences you – someone in the industry that you look up to, and why?
George Nicholson, he changed the vision of yachting, he was able to bring it to the level that we are now. New Designs and technology, no fear. He was not afraid to push the envelope further.
What do you enjoy most about the yachting industry – and what do you wish you could change?
To light the spark of a client’s dream. Create a good solid industry with professional people.
Tell us about your greatest brokerage accomplishment.
My greatest accomplishment is not about selling big yachts but about keeping clients happy and being transparent.
What are some of the challenges you come across at work, and how do you approach them?
Every deal or every approach to clients is a challenge, but if you are well organized, you have good support and you are clear, you have nothing to fear.
