The second superyacht in the Amels 60 range, ENTOURAGE, has revealed her interiors for the first time since delivery to her owner earlier this year.

The 196.85ft yacht features an exterior yacht design by Espen Øino International and naval architecture by Damen Yachting, while the owner appointed the Canadian design studio Burdifilek to create a luxurious and serene yacht interior. This was the studio’s first superyacht project, whose portfolio includes the W Hotel, New York’s Club Monaco and a number of commercial spaces.
Bespoke Interior Yacht Design
Diego Burdi, Burdifilek’s Co-Founder comments, “The Owner knew exactly how he wanted to entertain and how he wanted the flow through the spaces to be. When the sun sets, the yacht transforms, shifting from day to night, evoking a completely different feeling. This unique opportunity led us on a journey of exploration where every design aspect of the yacht was considered at the highest level. Conceived as a floating oasis of luxury, the interiors are a playground of timeless elegance, ultimate comfort with a sense of peace conveyed through a monochromatic palette.”
ENTOURAGE can accommodate a total of 12 guests with the spacious owner’s suite situated on the main deck, complete with fold-down balcony, lounge area, two bathrooms and a twin bed guest suite next door. The remaining four staterooms are located on the lower deck, as are the cabins for 13 crew members.
A unique feature of ENTOURAGE is the placement of the staircase to create a more eye-catching and spacious passageway. Project Manager at Damen Yachting, Arie Midvaine shares, “I think the staircase is beautiful and very innovative. The structure is on the outside and tucked away – which is substantially different than previous models and gives much more space to move around. The ceilings are also beautiful and are free of domes – a feature that the Owner brought in from this experience in real estate.”
The extra-large sundeck extends an additional 4.11ft with a jacuzzi pool, sunpads, large bar area and alfresco dining at the L-shaped lounge. Ample deck space abounds with other dining and lounging options on the swim platform, main deck aft, bridge deck saloon and casual dining area in the main saloon.
On making the decision to extend these areas, Jan van Hogerwou, Damen Yachting’s Commercial Executive for North America shares, “At the request of the Owner, we extended the Bridge and Sun Deck aft, which has impacted the use of these decks in such a positive way that we decided to implement this change for all future builds.”
While exterior designer, Espen Øino shares, “It’s an extremely well-optimized design. Together with the Amels team we invested a lot of time fine-tuning the Amels 60 design, really looking back at the Limited Editions past, talking to clients. She looks beautiful.”
The owner worked closely with the Amels team, through the help of their build supervisors, Moran Yacht & Ship, who first represented them in the sale and have now been appointed the charter Central Agent for ENTOURAGE. “We are very proud of the many customizations we were able to implement into this platform, which is a testament to the Damen Yachting engineering and production team,” says Sean Moran, Managing Director at Moran Yacht & Ship.
Evolving with the next generation, “ENTOURAGE features IMO Tier III compliant hybrid power and propulsion technology, cutting-edge equipment and technology, superior seakeeping abilities and a transatlantic range of 4,500 miles.”
