Arksen, the British builder of adventure yachts, announced the first US dealer for its vessels at the Düsseldorf boat show: Ben Oaksmith from Oaksmith Yachts in Seattle.
The partnership marks the start of Arksen’s US distribution plan, focusing on the adventurous spirit of boat owners in the region. Speaking on the new collaboration, Oaksmith highlighted the vast cruising grounds that Arksen yacht owners can take advantage of: “The Pacific Northwest from the south sound to Seattle up to the Sunshine Coast, Desolation Sound and beyond is the perfect cruising grounds for the Arksen A28 and A30. The aluminum hull is strong, the generous and refined interior is comfortable, and seakeeping truly outpaces their footprint.”
Built to sail in off-the-beaten-track destinations, Arksen yachts are ideal for the conditions of The Pacific Northwest. “We are excited to see our customers explore in these vessels; no matter the weather,” added Oaksmith.
This year will be a busy one for Arksen, with the launch of its first two explorer vessels: the Arksen 85s. Both the Explorer Series and Adventure Series will attend several European and US shows throughout the year. The Arksen 28 and Arksen 30 models made their debut at the Düsseldorf boat show:
