Company History
Tiara Yachts is a family-owned manufacturer of quality fishing yachts and cruising boats ranging from 29 to 58 feet in length.
The company was founded in Holland, Michigan, by Leon Slikkers, who pursued his dream of building boats. With only $5,000 in his hand, Leon started Slikkers Boats, his first boatbuilding company that led him to the create Tiara Yachts and their sister company, Pursuit Boats, which produces models with outboard engines ranging from 25 to 39 feet in length.
From their humble beginnings, it has become a globally recognized manufacturer of luxury sporting vessels that are built with ample breathing and moving room.
Famous for Coining the Term “Open Yachts”
The company is most famous for coining the term “open” to describe their Tiara 3100. In 2018, the Tiara Sport 38 LS received the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show Innovation Award.
Supporting the Next Generation of Boat Builders
All Tiara yachts are constructed in Holland, Michigan at the shipyard’s facilities. Due to the recent pandemic and worker shortages, Tiara Yachts has donated $75,000 to the Great Lakes Boat Building School near Holland, Michigan, in order to help train new and exiting talent into the world of boat building.

TIARA 30 and 43 Open
Tiara Yachts has many models offered, each one built with precision and the utmost in engineering and technology. Open yachts offered by Tiara include the TIARA 30 Open and the TIARA 43 Open. Both Open yachts offered deliver the ultimate boating experience with an enclosed head, a large berth and stunning appointments. The Coupe yachts offered by Tiara are powerful.
TIARA 39 and 53 Coupe
The TIARA 39 Coupe for instance, is perfectly sized and offers twin Volvo Penta IPS drives that are paired with the dependable hull of a Tiara. The larger TIARA 53 Coupe offers an elegant profile that is blended with an integrated hardtop and tinted windows that offer unobstructed views. The TIARA 53 Coupe also features a salon and bridge deck with views that are open to the cockpit through sliding aft doors. This is the ideal boat for entertainment as well as overnighting.
TIARA EX 60
Other renowned yachts offered by Tiara include the TIARA EX 60, a nimble yet sturdy yacht that offers four unique layouts that allow for both al fresco and aft cockpit modules. The boat also includes multiple options for fishing enjoyment. The Tiara Yachts LS series is more like a center console bow rider combination that offers walk-around capabilities, an outdoor galley and a convertible sunpad.
Redefining Luxury Day Yachting – TIARA LS SERIES
Redefining luxury day yachting, the LS series offers lounging spaces and social areas for guests that offer complete relaxation along with sleeping accommodations and a head. In addition to these yachts offered by Tiara, they have also delivered the LX series – a crossover yacht that offers both luxury and power. The 38LX offers seating aft that transforms from seating to sunpads both to port and starboard. The yacht features a centerline pass through that makes navigating through the boat easy, from the bow seating area through the large cockpit, passing through the outdoor galley to the aft seating area. The yacht also offers storage capacity and a head below.
Sport Styling with Luxury – TIARA LE SERIES
The new LE series is offered in a large 43-foot yacht and offers outboard engines that emphasizes sport styling with luxurious amenities. With dedicated social areas and exciting performance, this Tiara yacht is like no other. She provides a chaise lounge at the bow, while aft, there is a rotating lounge with multiple locking positions and a footrest. The cockpit is further expanded by a fold-down terrace that offers easy access to the water. Entertainment options abound, and include a galley, a grill, stereo system, a head below deck and sleeping accommodations in the form of a queen island berth and a mid-cabin double berth. The head provides a separate shower and everything you need for excellent overnighting or day yachting.
