About Jan Willem de Jong
Jan Willem has been involved in the Marine Industry his entire professional career. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from PolyTechnical University from the Netherlands and he also has an IMO Captains license for vessels up to 375 feet.
He worked for a year for the Holland America Line as Apprentice 5th Engineer and Apprentice 5th Navigation Officer. In 1989 he immigrated to Canada and co-founded Neptunus Yachts and was VP of production for 16 years. After production he became VP of sales and from 2013 till present, he has been Managing Director of Neptunus Yachts. He is actively involved in the day to day operation of the company and handles design, production and yacht sales.
