About the Venice Boat Show:

The Venice Boat Show returns from May 29 to June 2, 2025, at the historic Arsenale, the former naval heart of the Serenissima Republic and now the ideal stage for showcasing the best of international shipbuilding. With 300 boats and 270 exhibitors across 55,000 square meters of water, the event offers a unique experience for sea and boating enthusiasts. Highlights include 15 world premieres, innovative motor and sailing yachts, and the latest in catamaran design.

Organized by Vela Spa with the Municipality of Venice and the Italian Navy, the show features five days of exhibitions, water trials, regattas, and expert talks. A strong focus is placed on sustainability and the future of boating, with advancements in electric, hybrid, and hydrogen propulsion taking center stage.

What to Expect at the Venice Boat Show

Set against the striking backdrop of the Arsenale of Venice, the Venice Boat Show offers much more than a display of cutting-edge vessels. Visitors can explore 30,000 square meters of open-air exhibition space and over 1,100 meters of piers within the expansive 55,000-square-meter water basin. The event highlights not only innovation in shipbuilding, particularly in electric, hybrid, and hydrogen propulsion, but also the craftsmanship of traditional Venetian boatbuilding. Attendees can enjoy a vibrant mix of activities including thematic talks, design and craft exhibits, water trials, regattas, and an E-Village focused on electric boating. There are also art installations, educational programs for children, and local food and merchandise stalls, making it an immersive celebration of the sea, technology, and Venetian culture.

The Venice Boat Show offers a dynamic lineup of events that go far beyond boat displays. Visitors can enjoy a full schedule of seminars, presentations, and thematic congresses focused on innovation, sustainability, and the maritime world. Exciting activities include water trials, the prestigious E-Regatta and its electric boat parade, rowing events, and the historic 70th Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics. Families and enthusiasts can participate in treasure hunts, explore the submarine Dandolo, watch fly tandem shows and model boat exhibitions, and attend marine rescue demonstrations. Cultural experiences, art installations, and hands-on educational programs for children are paired with local food, music, and a festive atmosphere—making it a true celebration of the sea.
