TYBA Yacht Charter Show 2025

The 6th TYBA Yacht Charter Show will take place from May 9–13, 2025, at the prestigious D-Marin Göcek Marina in Türkiye. Organized by the TYBA Yachting & Brokers Association—founded in April 2017—this event has become the most important gathering for trade professionals in Türkiye and the Eastern Mediterranean. TYBA’s members represent a major share of the country’s yachting sector, spanning brokerage, chartering, construction, and yacht management.

With the invaluable support of D-Marin management, TYBA members, national and local tourism boards, and long-standing sponsors, the association is set to deliver another landmark event. The picturesque town of Göcek, an emerging hotspot in the Turkish yachting scene, provides the perfect backdrop for the show. What to Expect at the Show

Attendees of the TYBA Yacht Charter Show can expect a premier industry event featuring luxury charter yachts, professional networking opportunities, and insightful seminars tailored to yachting professionals. The show offers direct access to yacht crews, brokers, and service providers for meaningful connections and firsthand inspections. Set against the stunning backdrop of Göcek, the event includes social gatherings, culinary experiences, and a showcase of the latest trends in the East Mediterranean charter market. Additionally, the event will host a series of seminars, yacht viewings, and networking opportunities, including the popular “Yacht Hop” and the CarrefourSA Sundowner presentation.

The TYBA Yacht Charter Show will feature seminars on key topics in the yachting and charter industry, including the history of Turkish yacht building, from sponge diving boats to the creation of mega yachts. The event will also cover the TYBA contract, providing insights into its use over the past two years. Marketing strategies for the Turkish yacht and charter business will be discussed, along with an exploration of classical and new cruise areas in Turkey. Additionally, there will be a focus on maintenance and drydocking facilities in Turkey, as well as the history of Anatolian grape cultivation and winemaking.

The Chef Cook-off is one of the standout events at the TYBA Yacht Charter Show, where top yacht chefs from Turkey showcase their culinary talents. Sponsored by Carrefour SA, this year’s competition will focus on Istanbul’s iconic street food. Chefs will be challenged to elevate classic street foods into gourmet creations, blending traditional flavors with a refined touch. A panel of distinguished judges will evaluate the dishes based on originality, technical difficulty, presentation, hygiene, and flavor, with prizes awarded for the top three entries, along with special recognitions for the most welcoming crew.

The Best Cocktail Competition invites competitors to craft unique cocktails using any ingredients they choose, with the added challenge of incorporating specific themes or requirements. Participants will have time to plan their creations, selecting ingredients and perfecting their flavor combinations. During the mixing stage, competitors will have access to a fully stocked bar to prepare their drinks, which will be presented to a judging panel. Judges will evaluate the cocktails based on creativity, adherence to the theme, flavor profile, presentation, and execution, ensuring a dynamic and exciting competition.
