Saltwater Fishing Expo 2025

The Saltwater Fishing Expo returns to Edison, NJ, from March 14-16, 2025, offering an opportunity to make the upcoming fishing season the best yet. As the premier saltwater fishing expo in the Northeast (and arguably in the entire eastern U.S.), this event brings all aspects of saltwater fishing under one roof. Exhibitors include major tackle brands, smaller specialty manufacturers, local tackle shops, boat dealers, fishing guides, and more. Learn new techniques from top experts, explore the latest gear, and shop for exclusive deals unavailable elsewhere. The event also features an impressive lineup of seminars covering various species and techniques, making it a must-attend for fishing enthusiasts.

Interactive Experiences

• Trout Pond – Introduce kids to fishing or practice your skills at the catch-and-release trout pond, filled with 500lbs of live trout! Rods and bait are provided. Children under 11 can fish for free. A $5 fee applies for those 12 and older.
• Fishing Simulator – Fun for anglers of all ages, the fishing simulator offers an exciting and realistic fishing experience. Feel the line pull as a hooked fish jumps and dives on a large screen TV!
• Casting Pond – Learn how to cast or try out a new rod and reel at the 50ft casting pond. Instructors will be onsite to teach people of all ages the basics of fly casting.
• Surf Friday – Top surf casters, including “Crazy” Alberto Knie, Shell E. Caris, John Skinner, Bill Wetzel, Jimmy Fee, and Ryan White, will lead surf seminars throughout the day on March 14. Join a Q&A panel with these experts, moderated by Jim Hutchinson, at 6:30pm. One attendee will win a Surf Tackle Package valued at over $2500!
• Cast Net Demos – Learn casting methods from Captain Frank Crescitelli, who will be providing tips all weekend.
• Seminars – A variety of educational and interactive seminars will take place during the expo. Topics will include casting and jigging techniques, kayak fishing, and more, in addition to an array of lectures on specific fish. View the full seminar schedule here.
• Giveaways – Visitors will have opportunities to enter to win prizes such as fishing gear, sunglasses, fishing trips, and a Surf Tackle Package valued at over $2500! On Sunday March 16, the first 100 children (11 and under) at the expo will receive a free Daiwa rod and reel.

• How can I purchase tickets? – Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Tickets are $16 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-11. Children 5 and under are free. On Family Day, Sunday March 16, children 11 and under are free.
• Is there on-site parking? – Yes, onsite parking is free. A shuttle service is available to/from nearby lots.
• Is there a coat/bag check? – Yes, both coats and bags can be checked. Bags and backpacks are allowed in the show and may be subject to bag checks.
• Is the show handicap accessible? – Yes. Please send an email to info@sportshows.com if assistance is needed. Note: scooters and wheelchairs will not be available to rent.
• Are pets allowed on the showgrounds? – No, only service animals are permitted.
• Will there be concessions? – Yes, food, beverages, and alcohol will be available for purchase.
