The Discover Boating Minneapolis Boat Show (MBS) will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center from January 23-26, 2025. One of the Upper Midwest’s largest and most popular boat shows, MBS is a fantastic opportunity for boating enthusiasts to explore a wide range of boats, boating accessories, and marine products.

What to Expect at the Minneapolis Boat Show

• Hundreds of Boats on Display: The show will feature a wide variety of boats – from fishing boats, pontoon boats, and yachts to personal watercraft and accessories. MBS gives visitors the opportunity to view and compare different makes and models all in one place.
• Exhibitors: Each year, MBS has between 200-300 marine-related vendors. Products on exhibit include marine safety gear, boating accessories, and equipment. Vendors who provide services such as boat storage, maintenance, and more will also have displays. Representatives from all major engine brands will be in attendance.
• Live Demos & Seminars: Event attendees can participate in educational seminars on an array of topics from boating safety, maintenance, and the use of new boating technologies. Some exhibitors may offer hands-on demonstrations.

Interactive Experiences at the Minneapolis Boat Show

• Visitors can view an extensive display of antique and classic boats curated by the Bob Speltz Land O’Lakes Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society.
• Tech experts will be onsite at Fred’s Shed How-To Center to answer questions and offer tips, tricks, and DIY advice for everyone from first-time boaters to seasoned professionals.
• Family-friendly activities include virtual boating simulators, fishing lessons, remote-controlled boat races, model boat building, live music, and more.

• How can I purchase tickets? – Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Tickets for those 13 and older are priced $13 online or $15 onsite. Children under 12 enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Active Military gain free show entry with ID.
• Is there on-site parking? – The Minneapolis Convention Center has parking garages, and public transit options are readily available. Parking fees range from $5-15. Be sure to check for parking details or ride-sharing tips before the show.
• Is there a coat check? – Yes, coats and/or bags can be checked.
• Is the show handicap accessible? – Yes. Motorized scooters and wheelchairs are available for rent at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
