About the Mediterranean Yacht Show:

The Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) will take place from May 3–7, 2025, in Nafplio, Greece, marking the 10th edition of this internationally acclaimed event. From modest beginnings, MEDYS has evolved into the world’s largest and most prestigious exhibition for luxury crewed yacht charters. Organized annually by the Greek Yachting Association, the show showcases a premier selection of fully licensed yachts and professional crews operating in the Mediterranean, setting a benchmark for excellence in the industry.

Initially launched to enhance representation for regional yacht owners and brokers, MEDYS has become a globally recognized platform that strengthens the yachting sector while contributing to Greece’s broader economic growth. The event unites elite charter professionals, top-tier exhibitors and sponsors, and an impressive fleet—evidenced by 114 yachts registered for only 94 available berths, reflecting high demand and Greece’s rising influence in the global charter market.

The combined efforts of participating yachts, crews, sponsors, exhibitors, media, and the local community continue to elevate MEDYS year after year, firmly establishing it as a cornerstone of the international yachting calendar.

The Chef and Tablescape Competitions

The Chefs’ Competition is a standout event each year at MEDYS, with the 2025 edition introducing the theme “Greek Cuisine: A Gastronomic Journey Through the Years.”
This competition challenges participants to craft dishes that embody the spirit of Greek culinary identity. Participating chefs are encouraged to honor traditional Greek recipes while utilizing seasonal and local ingredients.

The culinary competition is complemented by the Tablescaping Competition, which pairs visual creativity and refined hospitality as an enhancement to the onboard dining experience. Chief stewards and stewardesses will present uniquely styled table settings that reflect personal vision and elevate the dining experience to an art form.
