Engines, Electrical, & Machinery

The 71 series was first developed in 1938 and built into the early 1990's. Parts and service are available all over the world. Since they have no turbo chargers, they are lower RPM long life engines.

All of the air conditioning has been upgraded over the years and there are diverters for the cool air from the salon to the flybridge.

There are two Northern Lights generators on board for backup electric power at all times. One is located forward and the other is located aft.
