Overview

 

Construction: Hull and Deck

 

A unique, structural hand laid fiberglass grid is bonded to the hull and provides both strength for the hull and a massive foundation for securing bulkheads, equipment, engine and tanks. The keel is solid lead fin keel with s/s keel bolts. Two-tone non-skid on deck.

 

 

Accommodations

 

As you step aboard the Catalina 470 you feel like you have entered a very upscale home. The spacious main cabin has a curved settee with convertible dining table to port (which offers sleeping accommodations for up to 3 guests). There are 2 reclining lounge chairs to starboard. As you move forward, you enter the "guest" stateroom where there is large pullman berth and head with a separate shower stall. The very spacious "Captain's" stateroom is aft and has a centerline berth, with easy chair and extensive storage lockers. This stateroom has its own private head with electric toilette and separate shower stall. To port there is a full service galley, equipped to prepare everything from a gourmet meal to a tuna sandwich (which could be one in the same). To Starboard is your forward facing navigation station.
