HOTSPUR is perhaps the nicest example of the innovative and highly sought-after Jeanneau NC14 to be made available on the US brokerage market. She has been enjoyed by the same young couple and their children since they commissioned her new in 2015, and has taken them safely around the entire East Coast and to the Bahamas. HOTSPUR was designed to be the ideal vessel for the modern family who seeks comfort and performance in a manageable platform.

Her twin IPS Pod drives, joystick controls (from the helm or the cockpit), and her excellent visibility allow for incredibly easy and anxiety-free maneuverability at the dock - perfect for a buyer who is looking to step up in size, but who may be concerned about the boat handling skills required of a larger vessel. The pods also offer quiet and fuel-efficient operation, compared to other drive types.

HOTSPUR boasts as much living space as any competitors in her size and class. The Euro-designed, 2-cabin / 2-head interior (w/ glass stall showers) was commissioned with every available factory option and is full of clever, often modular functions which add to the livability. These include convertible beds in the cabins (from two singles to one full), a retractable overhead sunroof, a galley on the main-salon level for ‘sociable cooking’, a first-mate bench which converts to a sun bed, and a nifty ‘basement’ below the salon which houses the laundry machines and ample storage space for gear. The salon berth is also modular and converts the table & settee into a double berth to sleep two additional guests (for a total of 6 onboard).

The design touches aren’t limited to the interior either… As you walk out from the inside, you’ll see that the cockpit is notably built on the same level as the salon and helm station - separated by a sliding glass door - which is ideal for entertaining larger parties as it eliminates any steps or transitions between guests. The expansive foredeck is host to large lounge cushions for relaxing at anchor or catching rays underway. As you continue moving aft you’ll notice the large swim platform which can be lowered into the water with the push of a button. This platform also houses the large RIB dinghy for easy launch and retrieval.

Hotspur is maintained by a full-time professional captain, stored inside a heated shed, and is expected to present well for inspections and/or surveys.
