INTRODUCTION

Preliminary listing – additional details and photos coming soon.

COURTSHIP is an exceptional boat with all the ease of sailing shorthanded that only her unique cockpit layout can provide. All sailing functions can be accomplished by the helmsman without leaving the wheel, compliments of her winch layout and Stoway rig. Both primary and secondary self-tailing winches are adjacent to the helm for ease of sail handling allowing the helmsman to remain at the helm

Belowdecks, COURTSHIP is a most comfortable 42-footer, with space and ambiance in the main saloon that rivals the best of 50 footers. Detail and craftsmanship, for which there is no equal, is evident both above and below decks.

COURTSHIP has been maintained to the best of standards since new, with New England seasonal summer use and heated inside storage for the winter months. The boat has been literally pampered by her owners, (only two since new!), and the second and present owner has had her for more than twenty years.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Starting forward is the owner's stateroom with V-berth and filler to make a double berth. There are six lockers, two foot lockers, a cedar hanging locker and six drawers. Just aft to port is a large head with shower and another hanging locker opposite to starboard.

The main salon has U-shaped seating area to port with beautiful inlaid teak dining table and a pull-out sofa berth to starboard. Generous in-berth storage with hanging locker plus lockers above.

The U-shaped galley is to port and is equipped with a Force Ten 3-burner gimbaled propane stove with oven, refrigerator/freezer, double stainless steel sinks, hot and cold pressure water, salt water foot pump and generous storage for china and cooking utensils.

Opposite the galley is a full nav station with quarter berth aft and more locker storage.

The interior joinery is satin varnished teak with lovely laminated gloss varnished deck beams under the coach roof.  COURTSHIP is not only, beautifully detailed to the renowned Little Harbor standard of excellence, she has been maintained to a standard that leaves you asking, “Have I got this right, was this boat really built in 1987”
