Introduction
The Sea Ray 400 sedan bridge is a popular cruising yacht with luxury-class amenities. The 2 stateroom, 2 head, galley-down interior features high gloss maple wood joinery and ultra-leather salon seating. Cockpit amenities included aft bench seating, ice maker, molded flybridge steps, and transom door. The large roomy flybridge provides a great location for both the operation of the vessel and guest seating. This boat has been meticulously maintained with no expense spared.
Accommodations
The maple laminated galley down is light and bright thanks to large windows and lots of ports. The galley is completed with Corian countertops and a non-skid durable vinyl deck. The interior is a light maple wood joinery with cream-colored vinyl wall accents and headliner. Across from the galley on a raised deck is the dinette which seats six and has a flip-up table for easy access. The salon is carpeted and has a couch and large sliding glass doors with a screen. There are 2 staterooms, each with its own head. The Master is located forward with a queen-size bed and ensuite head. A guest stateroom is located amidships port side with an ensuite head doubling as a day head. The cockpit and bridge are roomy and comfortable for cruising and dockside lounging.
There are several boarding options, depending on tidal conditions or the height of your dock. There's gunwale access from starboard with molded steps down. Portside gunwale access is from the molded flybridge steps and low access from the swim platform utilizing the transom door.
Cockpit
The fiberglass swim platform of the 400 SB allows easy boarding for everyone. Past the transom storage locker and through the molded transom door takes you into the cockpit with its built-in upholstered transom seat, Berber marine carpeting, and ice maker. A curved, molded staircase leads from the port side of the cockpit up to the huge bridge deck with a rear overhang which virtually covers and protects the entire cockpit below.
Flybridge
The contoured console wraps around the captain's adjustable helm chair allowing the captain access to all electronics, switches, breakers, and helm controls. There is a second helm seat next to the captains. Behind the helm is a U shaped settee with a pedestal mounted dinette table with 4 molded cup holders. The flybridge is completely enclosed with a canvas overhead and attached isinglass integrated with a fiberglass radar arch. The entire cockpit deck and steps are covered in a snap-in carpet.
Salon
The decor in this area uses the same theme and color schemes as the forward areas. A built-in dinette with a rectangular table, flip-up leaf and bench seating on both sides with storage underneath, including a pull-out liquor locker is a step up from the salon deck. The salon is carpeted and there is an ultra-leather sofa that converts to a double bed with the push of a button on the port side. A Corian pedestal coffee table is mounted in front of the couch. Above the couch is another storage locker with a West marine WM3000RF AM/FM/CD/MP3 player. There is a clarion 6 disc CD player, amplifier, and two speakers. The port side aft bulkhead houses the AC/DC distribution panel and mains and generator master controls. The bulkhead also has an Icom VHF command mic control head and a Cruisair SMXII digital thermostat control. The starboard side of the salon has a Corian countertop with an entertainment cabinet containing a Sony CD/DVD player and a 32” TLC Roku flat-screen TV mounted above. Beneath the counter are storage lockers, finished in the maple high gloss wood veneer. The window treatments are custom curtains and upholstered valances. Forward wrap-around windows with sunshade complete the open and airy appearance of the salon, dinette, and galley area.

Galley
The galley is forward from the salon and a step down to the starboard side. The galley features maple gloss finished wood construction and non-skid vinyl decking. A Corian solid surface countertop incorporates a molded sink and 3 burner glass cooktop. A refrigerator with a separate freezer section, an 1100 watt microwave, and 3 rolling pantry cabinets are built into the maple wood cabinetry. The ample storage above and below the galley countertop is augmented just two steps down with a full-length pantry locker.

Master Stateroom
The stateroom is located forward starboard and has a pedestal queen size bed with storage beneath it. There is a mirrored headboard with accompanying reading lights and speakers. There are lighted hanging lockers on both the port and starboard side. The master is equipped with a Sylvania 19” HD flat-screen TV, Memorex DVD player with accompanying remote controls, and 2 Sony 6 ½” speakers. For a bright and well-lit area, there are four portholes, a skylight hatch, and valence and deck lighting. The ensuite head has a molded sink, countertop, Vacuflush head, and separate shower stall. The A/C is controlled by a Cruiser SMX II digital control panel.
Guest Stateroom
The guest stateroom is located amidships port side, equipped with side by side twin berths and an insert to convert to a king-size bed. There is a small built-in table with storage between the two beds. Each bed has articulating reading lights. Above the bunks is an Insignia 15” flat-screen TV. The stateroom has a hanging locker with automatic light, portholes are located in both the stateroom and the ensuite head. The ensuite head has a sink, electric head, and shower stall and doubles as a day head. There is a reverse cycle air conditioning unit provided for this cabin and is controlled by an SMXII digital thermostat.
