The Explorer Sport is a 44m motor yacht that embodies the design and construction principles of the Antonini Navi shipyard perfectly, delivering pure form and function with aesthetic success and Italian style.
With a cutting-edge design and advanced technical ability, the Explorer Sport can cruise remotely for extended periods and can navigate the most extreme conditions. This is a yacht with go-anywhere potential.
There’s accommodation for 12 guests across six suites, and separate quarters for a complement of eight crew. The layout features an owner’s apartment, which occupies the forward portion of the main deck exclusively, and all accommodation has been carefully considered to maximise guest comfort – anticipating an owner and/or guests being aboard for longer periods.
Differentiating the Sport Explorer model from the Classic version offered, is its lower profile.
Whilst it retains the same aft deck configuration for the upper deck, there’s no additional sun deck, resulting in a more streamlined, sporty look and with a minimalist DNA.
The Explorer Sport can be equipped with RIBs or landing craft to facilitate exploration, with davits for their deployment and recovery specified for commercial shipping. The aft portion of the main deck can carry multiple vehicles, including a submersible, and beneath, is a watersports closet for wetsuits and scuba diving equipment, etc.
The Explorer Sport has a top speed of 16 knots and, at its economical 10-knot cruising speed, a range of 4,500nm.
