Single Piece Infusion Construction 

Single Piece Infusion Construction or SPI, is when vinylester resin is vacuum-infused into a grid structure (that is made of fiberglass and high density composites) and the laminate of the hull simultaneously. The resin that is located in the grid structure binds with the resin in the laminate and forms one single very solid piece. Single piece infusion construction then creates a boat made of one large piece. 

In a closed-mold vacuum infusion process, vinylester resin is chemically bonded so that the hull is bonded with composite structural beams that creates one unit.

The end result is simply a better, safer boat that is focused on safety so that users can make the most out of being on the water. Close-mold vacuum infusion is ideal for molding very large structures.
