About Us: In 2017, Kathi (Krencik) Ford, long time documentation expert and 4-time past president of the American Vessel Documentation Association (AVDA) with a total of 14 years on their board of directors, saw an opportunity to enter into the vessel documentation industry as an owner to focus on customer service and return one-on-one reliability to the industry

Kathi is joined by Andrea Wood; together Andrea and Kathi have over 35 years of experience in vessel documentation and registration. With their confidence and knowledge, they are focused on client satisfaction, ensuring that each transaction sails smoothly.

Completely organized to handle all processes remotely, the office also has business hours from 9am to 4pm M-F. With an open-door policy, anyone interested in coming into the office to process paperwork is welcome. With a staff that specializes in all aspects of Documentation and DMV services, RDI can guarantee that all work is handled effectively, efficiently, and knowledgeably. Our staff will happily pick up the phone and answer any questions you may have.

Services: Recreational and Commercial USCG Documentation and DMV registration. As a second line business partner with CA DMV, RDI can issue registrations and plates directly from the office. RDI coordinates between buyer, seller, broker, lender, attorneys, Coast Guard, DMV, marinas, and foreign entities to make sure all paperwork is handled immediately.
