The large cockpit has teak decks with ample room for sitting, dining, fishing and sunbathing. With ease of boarding from either port or starboard midship - just step up on cowling and down the cockpit stairs that can be mounted to either side, there is also transom access via a drop down transom door located off center to port and very easily accessed off the spacious swim step. There is a hot and cold water shower located off the transom step as well - very handy after a quick swim.
As you step through the transom and across the built in aft transom seating and into the cockpit you find the propane locker located in the center of the aft seating and drop in storage bins to port and starboard in the aft seat , these offer a great amount of storage and can be lifted out to access steering and additional storage below.
There is a large hatch located in the center of the cockpit allowing access to fuel filters, batteries and aft end of engines, this area also offer great storage. moving forward you will see twin lounges built in on the port and starboard sides these are also the access hatches to the Yanmar Diesel engines, hatches are operated with the push of a button for ease of use.
The wheel and instrument panel are located on the starboard side with a comfortable seat for two. Aft is the seat is a bar area with sink. The pilot house contains the electronics and instruments with 360 degrees of visibility. A varnished teak dining table with a pull out drawer located underneath and seating is located to port, the table can be lowered to make up a double bunk/ lounge area. There is a large hatch overhead operated with the push of a button.
There is a new Bimini over the cockpit that provides shade when needed. An Eisenglass enclosure can be put up to enclose the pilothouse area during winter or other times of inclement weather.
Steps lead down from the pilothouse to lower area where the galley can be found to port, there is a FORCE 10 3-burner propane stove/oven, 1 110v microwave oven, stainless steel sink and front loading 3.2 cubic foot NORCOLD refrigerator/freezer. The galley counter top is Sorell sold surface with teak rails. The cabinets are teak finished in satin varnish; cabin soles are traditional teak and holly finished in satin varnish.
Aft of the galley is a double bunk with additional storage.
