Yannis is an experienced Yacht Consultant and Senior Yacht Broker, specializing on New Yacht Construction, Sales of New and Brokerage Yachts, Management, and Refit Projects worldwide, with a demonstrated history of working in the maritime industry.
He initiated his yachting career in June of 1995 by joining as a 1st officer, the 3rd largest yacht in the world at that time and soon after continued as a Captain in various yachts gaining useful experience on their technical side and their logistics. In 2007, he focused his expertise on consulting owners in all aspects of yachting; from the initial consultations, inspections and purchase negotiations, full support during ownership as yacht manager and refit project manager, to the process of replacement or sale of the yacht as sales consultant.

In January 1993 and at the age of 23, he graduated the Merchant Marine Academy with a Degree in Maritime Science and he is holding a Captain Class 3 License. Following his graduation and two months later he joined the Hellenic Navy with the rank of Ensign, serving as an Executive Officer and Commanding Navigator, being honorably discharged in 1995.

He is licensed yacht broker in the State of Florida and also a member of International Yacht Brokers Association
Yannis lives permanently in Fort Lauderdale with his wife Julie.
