Company History
CHB boats (which stands for Chung Hwa Boatworks), are known for building trawlers, aft cabin boats and cruisers. These yachts feature deep drafts and wide beams, making them favorable for overnight cruising. The boats were very popular in the ‘80s during their production years thanks to the Monk-designed semi-displacement hull and ample cruising accommodations.
Features of the Pilothouse 45, for instance include spacious, teak interiors with split-level floor plans and a transom door for easy boarding. The company’s other model, the CHB 45, is a sedan that features an amidships master stateroom.
