Ellen is the last of the 40m Perini Navi class and only one to have a 4 guest stateroom layout. She has been expertly maintained and has undergone a complete refit including new sails, fresh paint on masts, superstructure, hull and bottom in 2016. The bottom and internal tanks were sandblasted to bare metal and recoated at that time. New teak decks were also installed. Every system was updated with new or serviced including hydraulics, winches, HVAC, Refrigeration, NavCom and A/V. Full maintenance of the Starboard gearbox (bearings, seals, oil change, filter etc…) and regular maintenance on the Portside completed. The AC unit has been changed. Charts and Radio have been controlled and updated. All security equipment has been checked
