yacht is to have been built by LeClercq on a Heisley hull. The hull was
designed by Howard Apollonio and has a sharply raked stem with anchor
roller, hard chines with chine flats, hull widening steps above and
below the waterline, a small skeg keel, twin inboard rudders, and a
transom stern/aft deck with a davit. Also with an extended 6' swim
platform and custom hardtop by West Bay SonShip. There are stainless
steel rubrails, there are bulwarks around the decks, and oval stainless
steel handrails are fitted.
The deck layout is a custom J.C.
Espinosa raised pilothouse design. The foredeck has an anchor windlass
and a flush hatch over the chain locker. A low profile cabin top follows
and has a sun pad area and two round skylight hatches. The higher main
cabin has large windows on the sides, a starboard side and aft doors,
and locker hatches on the forward face. There is a raised pilothouse
above the main cabin followed by a flying bridge. The flying bridge has a
starboard side helm with two helm chairs, a port side & starboard
side teak deck settee's aft of the helm chairs, and a hardtop above. The
boat deck is ideal for lounging with teak decks.
Side decks lead
around the cabin to the aft deck, where there is a flush sole hatch
over the lazarette, an aft deck settee with table, and port and
starboard steps down to the stern platform. The stern platform has a
water tight door to the lazarette & engineroom in the transom.
