"IF IT AIN'T DUTCH, IT AIN'T MUCH …" This well known slogan is somewhat un-Dutch in its boastfulness. However, while the Dutch are known for being modest folk in general, the premium quality of Holland’s superyacht industry is recognized the world over. And that is something the ship builders at Moonen are also proud of! Moonen Shipyards is one of the world’s foremost builders of motoryachts between 65 and 150 ft. Located in the medieval Dutch town of Den Bosch (‘s-Hertogenbosch), the first yacht to be built by what is today called the Moonen yard was launched in 1963. Gaining a reputation for quality and service, Moonen soon grew in sophistication and expanded its client base first across continental Europe and then much further afield – in fact to wherever connoisseurs of fine yachting reside.
Her elegant lines are crafted in a robust steel with graceful aluminum superstructure. CAMAI (ex-Pamacea) is a coveted model, one of three of the Moonen 65's built. She was built for discerning owners in the Netherlands who cruised the yacht throughout Europe. Her second owners found her in Europe and purchased her after a global search for an ocean capable vessel with a firm pedigree. Her current owners have serviced the ship bow to stern moving the vessel from San Diego to Seattle before family health matters made a change of plans. Impeccably kept, this yacht has cruised the Atlantic, Caribbean and transited the Canal. She is a joy to live aboard and as stout and elegant a home as any voyagers could wish for.
First in Class! CAMAI, (Ex-Pamacea) offers the most well-kept of vessels with the finest pedigree from a Holland shipyard. Proven and tidy, if you seek a truly capable ocean passagemaker this vessel will delight! Never chartered and bottom paint applied every year. Boasting 3500 range, a full-height engine room which provides walk-around access to her twin engines, a separate workshop space and a well stocked chandlery of parts and spares, CAMAI is ready to loosen lines and set out today! Her lovely Mahogany interior features single level living with a modern open plan living space and plenty of light and height. There is the huge salon, a centrally located galley, two pilot stations and three lovely staterooms each with ensuite head and shower, plus day head. All oceans capable, this vessel will provide limitless cruising possibilities! LLC owned.
