Description

WILLAWAY IS OWNED IN A CHARTER/LEASE AGREEMENT AND CAN BE SOLD OUTRIGHT OR IN THE CHARTER/LEASE

WILLAWAY is a classic Burger cockpit motor yacht built in 1981 that has been essentially rebuilt and redesigned with all common areas and Master stateroom on the main deck.

In 2017 and 2018, the yacht was completely stripped, sanded, primed and repainted and everything on it was either rebuilt, replaced, or updated with new equipment.  New composite, non-skid decks were installed, as was all new canvas throughout, and all hand rails and teak was varnished.  All windows have been resealed.  Both engines were rebuilt in 2004 and, along with both generators, have been completely inspected and up-dated by Martins Diesel in 2017. Nearly everything about WILLAWAY is new, remanufactured, painted, or reconditioned; a practically new yacht in an original hull.

Designed with a custom galley-up arrangement and newly redecorated custom on-deck king Master with his/her ensuite head & shower, WILLAWAY has accommodations for nine owners / guests and two crew. It features the latest in electronics, a new dinghy, two generators, a water maker, bow and stern thrusters, Naiad stabilizers, satellite TV, new décor throughout, a new Bimini top with 3-side enclosure, and new galley fixtures and appliances.  A Novurania 13’ hard bottom inflatable with 50 hp. Yamaha is included.

Walkthrough

Boarding amidships from the dock via a new Tide Ride ladder is easy and comfortable. From this central location, entrances port and starboard lead into the Pilothouse which has been completely refinished with a new console, new electronics, and a new 3-person seat and gives access to the flybridge by ladder or a custom elevator seat.  Going aft is the main salon and custom galley, which has been moved forward into the pilot house.  Galley features include new under counter refrigeration and cook top, a wrap-around bar with 3 bar stools, and a starboard side cabinet with large retractable Samsung TV.  The main salon, just aft of the galley, is furnished with two large easy chairs with power lifts, a sofa and cocktail table.  A central aft salon door leads to the cockpit and swim platform.
Forward of the pilot house and down a few steps is the main deck king Master Stateroom with ensuite his/her head & shower. Aft of the Master are three staterooms: the full-beam VIP with queen berth and two guest staterooms with twin berths, all with private head & shower.  In the bow through a custom entrance, the crews quarters provide two berths, a head & shower, and small galley.

Salesman's Comments

WILLAWAY is a classic, 1981 Burger completely up-dated in 2017 & 2018 and designed for owners who prefer having the Master stateroom and common areas on the same, main deck level or, especially, for those with limited mobility.
Nearly everything about WILLAWAY is new, remanufactured, painted, or reconditioned;  a practically new yacht in an original hull. If you missed owning a Burger in the 80’s, now is your chance to relive this classic yacht and moment in history. It is well worth the time to visit and inspect.
