The 65' Marquis, in the opinion of many, saved the Carver Boat Company. It was a fresh, new, high- performance design by Nuvolari-Lenard, Venice, Italy built in a separate factory in WI. Most US-destined boats had a hard top like HARBOR LADY which also has a dining table in place of the optional lower helm station (preferred layout).
HARBOR LADY has the preferred Caterpillar C-30 engine option instead of C-32 CATS or MTU's.
The current owner has taken HARBOR LADY between Naples, FL and Michigan a few times and this past winter she was laid up in Green Bay, WI. She will be launched in June, 2018 and then will be based in Bay Harbor, MI for the summer.
In 2016, the hull was painted blue which means a new buyer does not have to deal with 10-year old gel coat finish. The white superstructure still waxes up nicely as HARBOR LADY has spent about half her life on the Great Lakes dry stored in the winter.
New photos will be provided after HARBOR LADY has been launched and commissioned in June, 2018.
