Vessel Overview

MY BETH is a fine example of a well-found, well-maintained Marlow Explorer. She has had many updates and all major systems have been serviced recently. The Flag Blue awlgrip hull, varnished teak exterior and soft goods inside and out look great. Even the engine room shows like a much newer vessel. She has been a captain maintained vessel most of her life and it shows. She can cruise at an efficient 8-10 knots or run 20-24 knots when you want to get there fast. Top speed is 26 knots. With 3 cabins with private heads, and overflow bunk over the washer and dryer and a separate private crews quarters aft she is ready to take the family and quests for extended cruises. A chilled water system provides comfortable, gentle air flow air conditioning and heating throughout the vessel, including the engine room. This 72C has the same interior volume of a 78E.

The salon is beautiful and spacious. The U-shaped settee to starboard seats 6-8 comfortably and there is a large salon table. Directly across from the seating area is the entertainment center with a large flat screen TV and a lift mechanism. There are 2 comfortable chairs on either side, perfect for socializing with people seated in the settee.

Furnishings are teak and cabin sole is teak and holly. Gentle flow air conditioning and heating is provided from louvered ducts which run the length of the salon and dining room.

Dining Area/Bar

Just forward of the salon is the dining area. The teak and ebony table seats 6 comfortably. This area features lots of storage for tableware and linens and glassware in the buffet and china cabinet forward. Directly across from the dining area there is a full bar with ice make and wine cooler. This yacht has a very open feel as the salon, dinning and bar are all in one big open area. She feels like a much larger yacht than 72' would lead you to believe.

The galley is very well equipped with top of the line appliances and plenty of storage for housewares and food. It is U-shaped with beautiful black granite countertops throughout, creating a lovely setting for entertaining guests in the pilothouse.
