A new four-deck layout
The NEDSHIP D-42ms fly is a full four-deck motor yacht with an additional intermediate wheelhouse deck offering four major outdoor areas on fly, main, upper
and forward deck.
The fly deck opens a great and private area for undisturbed sun bathing and relaxing time
The upper deck comprises a sky lounge that opens up to the upper sun deck, creating one large open lounge area.
The intermediate wheelhouse deck accommodates the wheelhouse and the captain’s cabin as well as the Portuguese bridges with their wing control stations.
The main deck offers a spacious and functional social area with a large sunbed on the aft part of the cockpit adjacent to the dinning table. The light salon with two lounge sections, including a bar and office, displays many fresh ideas such as full height side openings, which opens with two balconies to the sea, to give it the
optimal alfresco feeling. A well appointed galley with dumb waiter and cold room stores is adjacent to the salon and the staircase for optimal access to all dining areas on the yacht. The large full beam master stateroom forward is well lit and equipped with large cabinets and dressing rooms and the large bathroom feels very light and open with ample natural light from the large side window.
The guest area on the lower deck consists of two spacious double cabins and two twin cabins with single and double beds plus a small pantry for guests. The crew quarters are all forward and the engine room and control facilities is all aft next to the tender garage and laundry.
Indoor lobbies and staircases and outdoor stairways on each deck connect all levels and areas of the yacht. The yacht's layout provides separate staircases and passageways for crew and guests alike to guarantee greatest privacy.

NED SHIP has considered all aspects required for creating a modern super yacht with a unique holiday home atmosphere and flawless functionality.
The welcoming and relaxed atmosphere aboard the NEDSHIP D-42ms fly evolved from the simple fact that most time on board yachts is spent outdoors. In order to
guarantee a quick and efficient food service to all outside areas of the boat the galley is strategically located on the main deck with a dumb waiter serving the sky lounge and the upper deck.
The hull has a larger beam than usual providing a high volume interior and yet the performance with exemplary fuel efficiency and superior cruising range have been
maintained with the long a narrower waterline. The NEDSHIP D-42ms fly is fully classified and MCA compliant.
The NEDSHIP D-42ms fly emblem stands for rigorous European quality standards, contemporary design, professional building supervision, and innovative details.
Our production facilities, A.R.C., located in the Antalya free zone at the Turkish Riviera currently cover a total of 20,000 square metres working space. More than 30 years experience in composite production position A.R.C. as a major player in the global market for advanced composite built yachts. We delivered within this period about 350 projects. Our shipyard was one of the first to use epoxy resin, and today the facility has digital cranes, precision machines, its own carpentry shops, and access to a large tank testing facility for vessels of up to 45 metres in length. Throughout the entire production process (from the first design sketches to shop floor
activities) advanced software is used, e.g. automated project management and control systems. Highest precision is a pre-requisite to create yachts of benchmark-
Supervision and consultancy
For supervision and consultancy during the different stages of planning and production, NED SHIP co-operates with ZUCKER & PARTNER, an international marine
surveyor company based in Hamburg, Germany.
With frequent on-site quality control inspections, progress reports and the final pre- delivery tests every aspect of the construction is followed to assure premium quality. Prospective yacht owners are of course more than welcome to bring along additional surveyors.

OPTION 1: 2 engines MTU 12V 4000 M 93 (2x3140 hp)
OPTION 2: 3 engines MTU 16 V 2000 M96L (3x2600hp)
This configuration offers a third engine as either a booster or as a mono engine for slow cruising with longer range and less consumption. Other than that, the yacht can run on 2 engines for a more economical cruise or even more efficient with the single engine on low cruising speed.
Also with 3 engines together there is less weight (approx 6 t) than the larger 2 engines which brings an advantage for the fuel consumption and the overall performance.
To get the best performing results on every engine package, we need to handle the general lower deck layout in a different way, as we do have a big weight difference between the 2 engines or the 3 engines version:
The 2 engine version:
In that version, the engines has to be more forward to the centre of the yacht. This is shown on the picture below "2 engines layout". This will delete the mid ship garage and will create a larger aft garage. Also the balconies will be a little bit smaller.
The 3 engines version:
Shown on the 12. General arrangement file. As we have much less weight (even we are using 3 engines, but smaller blocks), we can create the mid ship garage and a small aft garage for crew tender, bar and beach club
Costs on each engine option will be the equal.
