Upon stepping onboard ST. SOMEWHERE, the craftsmanship of the popular Marlow Explorer is evident and the clean lines are showcased throughout. The yacht was built with the C-18 inline 6 cylinder Caterpillar engines allowing a cruising speed of 10 knots while giving you the ability to do 17-18 knots when desired. When you step into the salon the great feeling of wipe open space is evident. You can see clear through the salon and dining room to the front pilothouse windows in the pilothouse. The beautiful teak and holly wood combination is showcased throughout the yacht. The U-shaped built in seating is very comfortable and provides great storage under the lift up seats. There is a beautiful satin teak cockpit table in front of the salon seats. The large flat screen TV is directly across from the built in seating.
Forward of the salon is a dining area with a large teak table and seating for 6-8 adults. The built in seats provide more storage. The buffet cabinet forward gives you secure storage for all your tableware. The table normally seats 4-6 and has a leaf that extends the table when you want to serve 6-8. A key feature here is that the table is also removable to be moved tot he aft deck for expanded dining al fresco.
As you go up the 3 steps at the forward end of the salon you enter the galley and pilothouse area. The galley has plenty of storage and all the best appliances. There is a generous counter top space for preparing meals.
The lower helm is a few steps forward and has all the helm control functions and electronics. This station is far enough forward and high enough to allow you to run the vessel from this position whenever the upper station is not comfortable. Just to port of the lower helm is a nice seating area with a table providing a favorable spot underway.
ST SOMEWHERE comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests in 4 well appointed stateroooms. As you descend to the lower deck you will find the full beam master aft. This is the most stable comfortable spot onboard as it is near the yacht’s center of motion when at sea. The owner’s stateroom has twin heads featuring a large center line shower. The king size bed is in the middle of the space and is surrounded by cabinetry that provides storage for extended cruises. To starboard there is a comfortable settee that lifts up for storage.
The port guest stateroom forward has a TV, twin side by side beds, hanging closet and storage drawers as well as a private head with separate stall shower.
The VIP stateroom is in the bow and has a queen berth, large hanging closet and storage drawers. This yacht also has overhead bunks on either side that are perfect for a couple with children or a group of fishing buddies. The 4th stateroom is on the starboard side and has a set of bunk beds with its own TV and storage drawers. Please note all staterooms are featuring brand new mattresses in October 2017.
You can access the Fly Bridge from the pilothouse or the cockpit stairs. The upper helm station has all the engine controls and electronics to be used in this position, as the primary helm, just as the lower helm does. The twin helm chairs are very comfortable and will hold you securely in on rough days. The enclosure will protect you from the elements, through any bad weather, and will keep this area clean when you are not using the yacht. There is seating for a large group aft of the helm chairs and there is a large table on the starboard side. Aft of the Fly bridge there is an expansive outdoor living area featuring a Sun pad that has plenty of storage, grill, drink fridge, and lots of deck space for free standing furniture. There is an oversized canopy providing plenty of shade for guests as well. The Davit is perfect for handling 14'-16’ tenders or jet skis.
The engine room and crew cabin are accessed from the stairs at the aft port side of the salon or via the transom door. The crew cabin is fully self sufficient with twin bunks and a full head.
The engine room is very spacious with the C-18’s. There is a space to walk around all sides of the engines providing great access for service; additionally, providing easy access to the generator and all components of the fuel system.

The salon is very elegant with Teak and Holly floors as well as Satin Teak cabinetry. The built in seating will accommodate 8 adults and there is room for more in the adjacent dining room. This yacht can comfortably entertain a large group. The large flat screen TV is directly across from the U shaped seating. The coffee table is large and comfortable for casual dining. The Salon is lit and overhead 24V lights, rope lighting, table lamps and 24V wall sconces. More so, the Bose surround sound is excellent for music or when watching a movie.
The dining room features a U-shaped seating area that is augmented by chairs on the port end of the table. The table is normally left to seat 6-8 but has a leaf that can be inserted for large dinner parties. The built in seats lift up to reveal an abundance of easy access storage for provisions for long voyages. The forwards buffet cabinets will store all your dishes and glass ware securely at sea and are easy to access when needed.
Directly across from the table is a full wet bar with sink, wine cooler, clear ice machine, and ample storage.
The galley is up in the pilothouse providing great views forward when preparing meals. The U-shaped Galley is a pleasure to work in and has all the amenities of a home kitchen. There are many storage cabinets and drawers for extended cruising.

You will feel right at home cruising for extended periods living in this stateroom. The king size bed sits center-line with the his-and-hers heads directly behind both featuring an adjoining shower with access from both heads. Each head has a sink, storage cabinets and drawers, a VacuFlush head, and mirrors. The stateroom is finished in satin teak. There are 6 stainless steel opening port lights in the stateroom and 2 in the head. There is a comfortable desk on the forward wall of the stateroom that has a built in swing out stool.

As you grab the curved teak handrail, gliding down the curved stairs from the pilothouse and galley, you will find the VIP Stateroom is a few steps toward the bow on your right. The headroom in this cabin is close to 7’. The King size berth is easy access from either side. There is a wall mounted flat panel TV with it’s own Direct TV receiver plus a stereo system. Above the main berth, on either side, is a good size bunk bed that is perfect for small children. This stateroom is complete with a full sized head and separate shower.

Port Guest Stateroom
The port side guest stateroom has two very comfortable single berths with a built-in nightstand between them. There is a full size head with separate shower. This stateroom is also finished in satin teak.

Starboard Bunk Room
This stateroom is at the base of the stairwell from the pilothouse. The bunks are appropriately sized for adults with brand new mattresses; additionally the room has a TV, storage drawers, and a hanging locker. The guests in this stateroom can access the VIP head from the hallway. There are 2 opening port lights.
The C-18 engines will power this vessel to cruise at speeds most motor yachts can only achieve with larger, heavier, and more costly to operate V-12 engines. This smaller package also provides you with a very spacious engine room. There are twin 25kW Northern Lights generators which are easy to service. The engine room is well lit and well ventilated with 4 fans. There is a fire suppression system, fore and aft blige pumps, with high water alarms.
The engine room is also air-conditioned and the bilges are fully finished allowing you to keep it aesthetically pleasing. The C-18’s are mounted on soft mounts to isolate vibration and the drive couplings further reduce vibration to keep you from having to make minor shaft alignments.
This yacht has redundant electronics to insure that, with any failure, there is a backup for the backup systems. The current owners and the captain enjoyed miles of trouble free travelling, with the assurance that the systems would safely guide them. The overhead systems monitoring panel gives all the shipboard displays necessary, including the tank tender system for checking levels in the fuel, water, and black and grey water tanks. Also located in this panel is the inverter monitoring station, the electronic breakers, and digital battery monitors. Bow and Stern Thruster Controls at helm, bridge, and on remote.
