GENERAL

 

 

Long range high quality luxury explorer yacht with serious go anywhere sea keeping characteristics, heavy build specification and suitable for sailing in ice conditions in accordance with its class notation. Dynamic positioning and suitability for global cruising. Commercially approved helideck suitable for an Augusta Grande dimensionally or larger helicopter in weight, up to 8 tons, with enclosed below deck hangar.

 

 

 

With her massive volume (2,100 GT) from her nearly 13m (42’) beam, the interior of ANTARCTICA offers not only spectacular space in all areas but her contemporary design by Zervudachi is light, modern and airy and the interior joinery, beautifully executed by the highly respected and well known known Fitz Interiors in Germany is to the very highest super yacht standards, similar to their execution of the interiors on such well known yachts as PELORUS, KOGO, TRIPLE SEVEN and SIREN.

MAIN DECK:

Principally dedicated as the owner’s deck with large office/study/lounge/dining room, second bedroom or VIP suite with office/dressing room in the forward part, central lobby with deck access and day head, aft main Owners suite with lobby, bathroom, dressing room and bedroom including access to the deck on the starboard side. The main tenders are stowed in the aft part either side of the helicopter hangar with two day heads aft of this and a ‘podium’ deck with seating and view at the stern.

 

LOWER DECK:

Crew accommodation forward including a crew galley, mess and cabins, the guest accommodation in the aft part consists of a port side ‘sea lobby’ with direct access to the water, double staff cabin with separate office, VIP cabin with lounge that can be converted to a further king guest cabin and three further king sized guest cabins. In the after part there is a crew and water sports garage to port and a beach club/spa area with steam room and showers to starboard, both with large opening hatches leading to the sea. Aft there is a reception room and beach club with large opening transom door leading to the aft swimming platform.

 

UNDER LOWER DECK:

Extensive cold, freezer rooms and cooled storage, baggage store, washing room, laundry room, staff cabin with twin berths, crew gym, crew lounge in the forward part. The after part is split into the engine room, generator room, control room and switchboard, machinery room.

As an Apple based system developed, engineered and installed by Dutch based Mr. Smith AV company, the LAVIE system is user friendly and controlled from I-Pads, I-Phone or I-Watch to not only play preferred entertainment but to control the entire onboard environment.
