The aft deck is large & well laid-out with a coffee table at the forward starboard end & banquette seating plus a large teak & stainless steel dining table, which will seat 10 people. Entry into the main saloon is from the aft deck through a large sliding stainless steel glass door. In the saloon to port is a bar with a granite surface & glass sink. Opposite the bar is a “U” shaped seating arrangement with 2 glass top coffee tables.
Adjoining the main saloon is a spacious dining area. The circular pickled oak dining table comfortably seats eight & converts into a card table for four. Surrounding the table are custom buffet cabinets, with organized storage for formal dishes, silver, & crystal. Custom lighting & coordinated fabrics compliment the pickled oak cabinetry & sculptured padded panel headliner.
Forward on the starboard side, a corridor leads to a foyer with to starboard, stairs to the Owner’s & VIP suites below & to port, up semi-spiral stairs to the pilothouse & lounge. At the forward end of the foyer, is a day WC & a door to the starboard side deck. The corridor continues forward to the galley (a door can separate the galley from the foyer), which has on the port side the main cooking serving area, & opposite, a raised dinette. In between are steps down to the crew cabins below, which consist of two twin berth cabins & one Captain’s cabin.
LOWER DECK
The main cabin, a full width stateroom, is forward of the engine room & has a double bed on the centre line with a sofa to starboard & dressing table to port. A large walk in wardrobe is also situated on the starboard side. The stateroom has a full beam en suite bathroom with twin basins, bath & shower room, WC & bidet, finished with onyx tiles & gold fittings.
Forward of the main cabin is the VIP stateroom with a centreline bed & sofa on the port side. Wardrobes & dressing table are to starboard & the bathroom includes a large shower, twin basins, a WC & bidet
Situated aft of the engine room, & accessed from stairs leading from aft of the bar in the main saloon, the twin bedded guest cabins each have side by side beds & a Pullman berth. Both cabins have en suite bathrooms with large showers, WC, bidet & single basin. All the accommodation is carpeted in an attractive light white carpet & finished in oak panelling.

Originally launched in 1990 to a De Vries Lentsch semi-displacement hull design, IN EXCESS was constructed in Holland entirely from Aluminium by the family-run Lowland shipyard in Zoeterwoude, a yard often described as the mini-Feadship of its time.

Fully refitted in 2016, IN EXCESS benefits from a recent five-year survey and refit which included many technical revisions. A new AV was installed, engines overhauled, the list goes on.

The current Owner is an engineer by trade and also by hobby, and in his ten year ownership he has lavished a great deal of time, money and attention to her maintenance, keeping her near his home in Oslo and using her privately for just a few weeks per year. As a result the yacht has never been in better shape inside and out and viewing is highly recommended.
