GENERAL OVERVIEW

The exterior styling of « Galaxy of Happiness » was not achieved through simple sketches depicting a “spaceship on the water”. Instead, she is the result of precise and extensive studies married with advanced technologies and artistic commitments.

This trimaran concept is today’s highest performing yacht in regards to efficiency (low drag) and comfort (natural stability). By means of her innovative design, Galaxy of Happiness achieves the lowest possible quantity of both consumption and emission, in comparison to other yachts similar in size. Therefore, through this sole concept, she is eco-friendly and needs 40% less energy to move at the same speed as a monohull of equal length!

Nonetheless, a power yacht trimaran is a complex project to conceive, with many aspects to be carefully managed due to the interconnectedness of the design. For example, the position of the outriggers was determined following strict parameters. The decision to place the riggers on the aft part of the yacht provides better sea motion and efficiency in rough conditions. This positioning is closely linked to the joining of the wings and the main hull. The wing shape is not only tasteful, but the result of aerodynamic research, which creates a “wing effect” at full speed. This strategy lifts the yacht to improve overall performance, though consuming less energy.

Long party fishing is also included in the owner’s design brief. Consequently, Galaxy of Happiness can sail with zero emission in a total silent mode. The outriggers are equipped with electric engines and retractable propellers, allowing the yacht to be fully autonomous using its battery pack.

Galaxy of Happiness is not solely an “engineer’s yacht” whereby efficiency and technical parameters are considered. In fact, once the technical side had been specified, analysed and integrated, specific attention was given to the interior design.

The wide, original main salon has three entertainment areas using exclusive materials of carbon fiber, Alcantara and Zebrano to create a luxurious harmony. An electric window-tint control can dim and adjust the natural flow of light coming into the interior. The aft deck displays artful, handcrafted tiger-eye stone tables in addition to two sun pads accommodating four people adjacent to L-shaped, built-in seating arrangement. Moreover, the powerful sound system, TV panel on the aft deck, retractable TV on the jacuzzi deck, and built-in TV located in the main salon (which is connected to the modern AV-system) completes the Galaxy of Happiness’ state of the art entertainment equipment.

The guests’ accommodations include two large double staterooms with various bed configurations, suited for either adults or children. The Master 1 stateroom is in the aft and offers a queen-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom and shower. The Master 2 stateroom, located mid-ship, has a queen-sized bed and two single Pullman beds with en-suite bathroom and shower. The VIP stateroom, forward, has twin-double convertible beds, two Pullman beds, en-suite bathroom and shower.

Guests can adjust lights, temperature and sound in their personal spaces via an iPad and wall control panels.

The crew area is designed for five members and includes a crew mess with seating that wraps around the table. The three crew cabins are double beds, each with their own bathroom.

The fully equipped galley offers generous volume and storage capacity, including dry storage, a walk-in refrigerator and freezer.

The aft garage contains two jet-skis, diving and fishing gear, a bait-tank and a special fisherman’s sink. Powered transom door opens to a large swim platform with a comfortable swimming ladder.

The main tender is a “revolutionary” amphibious 6.1 meters SEALEG, located in bow garage and launched by a hydraulic crane.

The Jacuzzi deck is located behind the wheelhouse, and is equipped with a wet bar and Bimini protection.
