After a rugged career as a commercial fishing vessel working in and around the waters of New Zealand, Ren Rose (ex. Mutual Enterprise) was transformed in 2012 into a comfortable and spacious family-styled luxury expedition yacht. Her original (1974) hull & mechanical systems were in excellent condition and provide a solid foundation for her continued life as a long range cruising yacht. She was given a new aluminum deckhouse, stern extension and sport fishing platform.
During the project, the original fishing deck was converted to a spacious full-beam living room with direct open-plan access forward to a combined Dining Room/Galley and aft to a substantial Al Fresco deck. The Crew Accommodation was relocated forward from the Galley to provide maximum privacy for the owner and guests.
Total accommodations include 5 ensuite owner / guest cabins accommodating 12 guests and 3 cabins with berths for 6 crew. The upper deck master has sweeping views and an adjacent private lounge. All heads and the galley are of top grade and the galley is very well equipped.
On the upper deck (aft of the wheelhouse) the new deckhouse structure was entirely dedicated to the Owner’s Penthouse, and the previous fishing hold was converted into four Guest Cabins that shared two bathrooms. The photos cannot fairly convey the beautiful interior finish and the comfortable and spacious social areas.
The Ren Rose project also included a long list of new equipment including a generator, water makers, wet exhaust system, tender crane, a new bowsprit and anchor handling mechanism, navigation and air conditioning systems, and more. Ren Rose is in very good condition and with a 6,000 nm range, is capable of taking her owner and guests anywhere throughout Southeast Asia and beyond.
The current owner has greatly enjoyed Ren Rose and has enjoyed using her as a stout, economical and luxurious platform to entertain friends & family on cruises throughout the Pacific. Now, other matters have drawn his interests and they have engaged us to assist them with marketing this remarkable boat. You would look long and hard to find a more spacious, sea-worthy and luxurious expedition vessel in this price range.
Also, Dr. No’s SuperFalcon submarine is available for purchase for USD$799,000 and will make RenRose the most completely outfitted expedition vessel in its class on the market today.
