This is a tri-deck Explorer yacht, capable of cruising the world. The designers brief was to create an explorer/adventure style yacht in the 40 meter range, that incorporates all the luxuries and interior volume of a typical motor yacht, but can also carry large tenders and toys, and offers guests multiple exterior social/relaxing areas typically only seen on much larger yachts.
Created in collaboration with Mondomarine, industry experts, and the award winning design house of Gregory Marshall, the M42 Explorer is one of the most thought out, capable and multifunctional yachts ever conceived. Each area of the yacht has been evaluated by owners, crew, designers and builders to ensure the ergonomics and usability of the design and to make sure there are no areas of wasted space, as we see on so many designs.
The M42 Explorer has been designed to sleep 10 guests in 5 staterooms, including an on deck master cabin with options for his & hers bathrooms or a larger dressing area, and two of the lower aft cabins which can combine to create one large VIP suite. All cabins are en suite and benefit from oversized windows and portholes, filling these rooms with natural light.
The exterior profile is modern and agressive, oversized windows and portholes fill the interior with natural light, and all bulwarks have been reduced to allow for clear view of the horizon from all areas. The M42 Explorer incorporates 6 main exterior areas. Pool and large sun bathing areas on the main deck aft. Exterior dining on the bridge deck aft. Alcove seating and large sun bathing area on the bow. Jacuzzi, bar/bbq, sun bathing pads and sofa area on the sundeck. Viewing platform from the crowsnest. Swimming & watersports area from the beach club, with oversized swim platform and submersable hydraulic platform.
